1. Services
Echelon Auto Care provides mobile auto detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating services in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah. The specific scope and price of your service is confirmed during a walk-through before work begins. Results depend on your vehicle's condition; we'll always set honest expectations up front.
2. Scheduling, deposits, and cancellations
- Appointments can be booked by phone, text, or our online scheduler.
- A deposit may be required to reserve certain appointments (paint correction and coatings). Deposits are applied to your final balance.
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the deposit, since the time was reserved for you.
- We may reschedule for severe weather or conditions that would compromise the quality or safety of the work (especially for coatings, which require controlled conditions).
3. Pricing and payment
"Starting at" prices reflect a baseline; final pricing depends on vehicle size and condition and is confirmed at the walk-through before any work begins. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. We accept card, Apple Pay, and Venmo.
4. Vehicle condition and pre-existing damage
Before we begin, we document the vehicle's condition and note any pre-existing damage — chips, dents, scratches, cracked trim, worn clear coat, or mechanical issues. We share this documentation with you. Echelon is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for damage that results from underlying defects (for example, clear coat that fails during a wash because it was already compromised).
Some outcomes can't be guaranteed: deep scratches may be improved but not fully removed, and paint that is already too thin may not be safely correctable. We will tell you this before starting, not after.
5. Access and conditions at the service location
You agree to provide reasonable access to the vehicle and a safe, legal place for us to work. We bring our own water and power. For some services we may need shade or a controlled temperature range; we'll let you know in advance.
6. Satisfaction
We walk every vehicle with you (in daylight where possible) before collecting payment. If something isn't right, tell us at the walk-through and we'll correct it before we leave. Concerns raised after we depart will be addressed in good faith but may be limited by changes in the vehicle's condition after the service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echelon's liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Right to refuse or stop service
We may decline or stop a service if a vehicle's condition makes safe or quality work impossible, if the work would risk damaging compromised paint or components, or if the working environment is unsafe. If we stop work, you're only charged for work completed.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
